i was just gonna say the EXACT same thing! i remember those days!  my mom sewed, so she would cut and sew the sleeves on one of my dads old tee shirts for an art smock

That's what Joseph's school list had "Dad's old shirt for art smock"
I've seen them in Michael's too.
