I was at a block party last year.

I don't know this year. We usually get a sitter and go out to dinner and a movie.

we toured the wineries out east! it was a blast ! this year, i'll be content with hitting the beach and then bbq'ing in the back yard

I ate at Il Mulino, an amazing Italian restauran in Manhattan.

I don't really care where I celebrate it this year...as long as I'm drunk...9 months of not drinking is enough!

We went to London for my 30th birthday. I am not sure what we are doing this year but my b-day isn't until December. Maybe a nice long trip to Italy

Last year, I went to dinner with my family on Staten Island. I didn't do anything with friends. This year, the weekend before my b-day I am going out with friends to the beer garden in Astoria, and going out to dinner with my family in SI. On my actual b-day, I will probably go out to dinner with DH.

Last year, Davidburke and donatella with Dh and Lure Fishbar with my friends (both in city).

This year is my 30th so ideally Paris, but more likely FL or Bermuda!

last year we went out to greenport for the night.... i got my present but still cant open it till 2 more weeks.....

this year i will be in boston for a wedding

Last year we had a first bday party and then we cut out of there and went to Four Restaurant in Melville (DH"s friend is one of the owners).

Not sure what I want to do this year...I have to share the day with all the Father's since it falls on Father's day....

Last year (last b-day) - Was the day after my wedding and a whole bunch of us went out for sushi and LOTS of Saki Bombs!

This year - probably celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary + my bday with DH and our baby (who'll be about 3 months then )

last yr...went to a 4yr old b-day and dh took me to boulder creek.
this yr...not sure yet, its 5 months away

I cannot remeber last year's b-day for the life of me!!!! Maybe at an Italian Restaurant and then DH bought me canollis and eclairs instead of a cake (the dessert I remember! )


This year I was in grad school at night so the nite before we went out to eat, and the on the weekend had a small party.

Last year we were at home with some friends/family... this year I dont know, its the big 3-0, but we'll have month old child!

Last year, I think I went to dinner at my parents house had chinese take out or maybe my mom cooked. THe week before DH and I went to see the Wedding Singer on Broadway and The cheesecake factory for dinner.

This year who knows it is a month away.

The same place I've been celebrating it for the past 10 years - my IL's house (the downside of being born on Christmas Eve and marrying into an Italian family that has a huge feast on said day).

I would love to go away for my b/day...or spend the day in Manhattan - ice skating, shopping, seeing the sites.

Last year- dinner at The BrewHouse and then a bar-Blackbear (this is in CT)

This year we will be celebrating my bday /our bday on a cruise (this Friday)to the Bahamas

Last year: the weekend of we had dinner at my parents with my family with a homemade meal & homemade dessert from Mom!!
(on the actual nite of my Bday, my inlaws took us to Meson Ole where I got drunk on Margaritas!!)

This year....ditto of last year at Mom & Dad'slike every other Bday in my life!! It's something I really look forward to!!

last year: dinner with DH on the actual day, followed by family celebrations that weekend

next year: planning blowout 30th birthday/doctoral program graduation party!
