Last year we did Peter Lugers, and guess what...I want that again this year, we are going next Sunday for my B-day.

we went out for dinner, but nothing major. I guess it's just another day when you get older.
my b-day is in 2 days and we're going out with my parents to DH & my favorite restaurant on Saturday night.

For my actually birthday, I stayed home and had cake with my family. Then went out with friends on the weekend to celebrate. It was the weekend before Halloween, so everyone was having custome parties.

Swizz in Manahttan with DH & a bunch of friends on my actual birthday & then dinner the follwing week at an Italian restaurant in Scarsdale with my parents on Saturday & the Italian restaurant across from it on Sunday. 
It was my 30th--there was lots of eating involved.
This year, I think I'd just like to go out locally with DH & my parents.

Last year (on a Sunday), we went out for breakfast then went to a museum. I had just found out I was pregnant a few days before.
This year, it's on a Monday and DH will be in Vegas with his friends the weekend prior.  So I have no idea what we'll do but he better do something nice!!

last year we went to rockerfeller center to see the tree and then had dinner at Nobu.
This year - probably the same but a different restaurant - or the same- -I loved Nobu!

Since i had just given birth the week before to my boys, it was my big 30 so my DH took me to Novita in Garden City for a night out (and boy did i need it). We were home by 9PM though!
This year we will probably be having the boys big 1st birthday that weekend (since their actual birthday is labor day weekend and we will be away).

Last year i spent my b-day in the car for 14 hours driving down to N. Carolina looking to possibly move and this year..I plan on going out to dinner with all my friends to celebrate Cinco De Mayo

Is it bad that I can't even remember?   My birthday is 10 days after our anniversary (which was spent in the ER when my baby broker his leg  ). I think we did take-out. It's just another day when you're 41.

Last year I don't think I went anywhere with friends. I was busy with my thesis.
This year we went to Cafe Mozart on the UWS. I love the food there, but they have an extremely embarassing birthdya thing. Unfortunately my friend couldn't work my camera so there is no pic!
ETA: We also went to Evelyn's, also on the UWS for drinks and dancing
