In my wallet.....
then we needed it when someone hit us and my wallet was at home...DH was so angry! The cop said it's supposed to be in the car at all times...
and it's still in my Wallet!

Me too, although I've heard you shouldn't bc if someone steals your car then they also know where you live. And that you're probably not home.
But I'd never have my registration with me if it wasn't in my car.

I say wallet and DH says glovebox. Me saying wallet goes back to when you could sign over car on back of registration. Now its just stubborness

No, you're not supposed to put the title in the car b/c that shows ownership, not the registration. The registration should always remain in the car.

In the cars in a pouch that also has my insurance card and DEA card. 
They all get handed to the officer at the same time. Sort of like a package deal.
