where do you buy your child/childrens sneakers?
my dd is just starting to stand and try to take some steps. Her foot is so tiny that most sneakers are made for non walkers. Where do you get your sneakers?

I would definitely have her measured at Stride Rite so you know her true size. You can choose to buy shoes there or not then. Personally, I wanted Stride Rites for her first shoes b/c I loved the structure of them & the support they provided. But you can also find shoes at places like Target, BRU, Wal-Mart, Payless, etc.
Happy shopping!

Really little I used to go to Target. Then when she started really walking I went to stride rite. I haven't gone since mid summer but I usually get one pair a season from there and any other dress shoes I go to payless.

I got DD's first "real" shoes from Stride Rite - expensive, but worth it for the first shoes. I didn't get sneakers - I got walking shoes.

Me too. Now that she is older, I like the brand sold at Payless. I was never a fan of Target brand as they never fit well.

Re: where do you buy your child/childrens sneakers?
I bought DS his first shoes from Stride Rite when they were having a sale, so I got a pair of sneakers and a pair of shoes for the cost of one full price pair. Now DS gets shoes from wherever I like. He gets most of his sneakers from Kids Footlocker (he has a few pairs on Nikes and Addidas) and he has shoes from Target, Marshalls, Payless.
