any particular store or website that has the best prices?
I want to start building DD a nice little library with some of the classics......

I also get lots of books from TJ's and Marshalls... Also Costco has great books.
When Scholastic books have their sales , it is great too...

bj's too...the selection is hit or miss but we get lots there too! (and as already mentioned - tj maxx and marshalls is great!) - plus even from time to time, dollar tree has great ones!

Dollar Tree or Target in the bargin bins when you first walk in.
Sidewalk sales at barnes and nobles.

Wherever I see them. I have purchased a lot more books at Marshalls or TJ Maxx as was mentioned upthread than I have at Barnes and Noble. There's a second hand kids store near me and they also sell books for cheap. I've started giving Barnes & Noble Gift certificates as birthday presents, if anyone asks you what they can get for her, you can always suggest a B&N GC.
