i get most of T's dresses from Old Navy.
But when you say "Nice" do you mean nice nice - or everyday nice?
I also LOOVE Janie and Jack dresses. Babystyle has good cotton simple every day dresses.

We're going to a wedding in a few weeks and she's invited, so I need something dressy, and a couple of casual dresses for bday parties

I love Nordstrom's & Lord & Taylor for really nice dresses. When they have stuff on sale, it's not too bad. 
ETA: I love Janie & Jack too for both casual and nice, but I will only buy on sale there.  I also like Gymboree, Gap Kids and Children's Place for casual. I've seen nice toddler stuff at all of these places, even though i'm still buying infant sizes.

Target sometimes has some adorable dresses at a reasonable price. I haven't seen what they have for fall yet though.
Gap has some cute stuff as well.

I've found some really cute party dresses at JC Penney and Target.com . I got Sarah's flower girl dress for BILs wedding at My Girl Dress Also love the stuff on Best Dressed Child
Casual stuff I tend to get from Children's Place, the Gap & Old Navy.

Depending on the amount of money you want to spend. I would say bloomingdales, and Denny's in Commack..Whenever i want something a little different and i have an event to go to with the girls i shop at Denny's. But they are pricey.

eBay is GREAT. I have gotten a number of beautful dresses.
Best Dressed Child (online) is wonderful.
If you want holiday dresses you can do a google and a zillion sites will come up.

Thanks ladies! I bought a couple of really cute ones at Macy's (dur, I work right above it), and I ordered one fancy one from gymboree
My little girl is turning into a little lady

I get Ava amazing clothes at a website called Denim and daisies. , but absolutely beautiful. You can also get great stuff at Denny's. I go to the one in Plainview.
