Where does everyone store there makeup in?

Right now I am using a plastic shower caddy that has 3 compartments but it isn't fitting my stuff anymore.

I need something that I can move easily because I have to store my makeup in my closet and take it out to the sink area (really dumb layout in my master bath so their is no room by by vanity).

I thought about one of those accordion type of boxes but that is too big and I know I am going to get annoyed having to open and it close each time.

for the stuff i use on a regular basis, i keep it in a vinyl makeup case by ralph lauren. i got it at tj maxx, and is a great size. for the other stuff i dont use everyday, like certain eyeshadows, liners, etc, i just keep it in a separate case in the bathroom closet.
i would just separate the stuff you use often, vs the stuff you only use on occassion.

The stuff that I use everyday, I put in a makeup bag from Sephora, and store it under my sink, but the other stuff that I use on occassion, I store in my linen closet in a plastic box.

I have two small night tables with 2 drawers in each. 1 is all lipstick/lipgloss, another is all eye stuff, another is cheeks and the fourth is brushes, foundation, curlers, etc.

Then I have travel makeup so I don't have to pack anything.

I have a smaller makeup bag for in my handbag (for touch ups).

Like 10 million bags....

I finally made an "everyday" bag. I have a very nice train case from sephora that is holding a lot of old junk makeup, so I think I might take that out, go through it and use that daily.

I have an everyday vera bradley cosmetic bag that I got when Rue la la was having those great sales. Then I have organizers in my cabinet and then i also have a train case. I need a better system.

I just bought this from QVC ( in green)



It fits most of my stuff. I keep in on top of my toilet, b/c I put my make up on in my 1/2 bath & and there are no cabients or shelves or vanity.

I have a clear plastic make up bag from Sephora for my Bare Minerals (The large one)


And a hard case for my brushes from Sonia Kushuk's Target line a few years back.
It is kind of like this, but instead of the top coming off, it splits down the side.



Those two live on my windowsill.

Holy makeup!

I have one bag that I use everyday that fits in my nightand and a bag in my drawer that has special makeup for glitzier looks.

Both simple bags from Harmon.

I have a small black bag that fits into my purse with lipgloss and blistex and some other small stuff.

Everyday - In my coach make up bag and thne in my purse.

I have a large fabric covered hat box that I store my "other" makeup in. I keep that on top of my mirrored dresser.

When I was single I had a dressing table and I stored it in the drawers.

I use a train case, I got it from Ulta.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am going to separate the stuff even though it isn't a lot at all.

I can't wait until my bathroom gets redone.
