where else besides stride ritwe can i get good shoes not so$$
I have bought her two pairs of stride rite shoes so far $50 a pop. Where do you buy shoes especially ones that will only be worn once or twice ,like for holidays and stuff.

Khols and payless... i stopped buying stride rite... i have 18 mo twins way too expensive especially since they out grow soo fast.. good luck!

With the exception of fancy shoes that are worn once in a great while, I only do Stride Rite for my kids. I have found them at great prices on Amazon, Shoebuy.com (don't forget to go through ebates to get money back), and at the Stride Rite outlet. I go to the one in New Hyde Park, but there is also one in Riverhead.
ETA: I've gotten them at Marshall's too.
For fancy shoes I get them at Target or Payless. I ordered some for this Christmas through darlingshoes.com when they were on clearance.
