25 in dix hills by the dix hills diner and toyota auto repair near dsw shoes, and huntington village across from the huntington library.

If you can make it to one of the outlets the shoes are about half the price. They had a huge selection at the outlet in Lake Success this weekend, and there were a lot for about $20.

There's a Stride Rite in Broadway mall.
This is the one I like to go to. There is one in Sunrise Mall, but I don't like them there - they are privately owned and so if you have any coupons or anything, they don't honor it and they are nasty about it too.

I usually go to Gail's Stride Rite in Huntington.

I used to go to the Dix Hills one but stopped after Joseph told me that the guy who gave him a book was his "special friend". I asked where he heard that term "special friend" & he said from the man. Probably an overreaction on my part, but it creeped me out.
eta. My friend who is a great shopper told me that the outlets are SIGNIFICANTLY discounted.

Nordstrom Rack at the Source had a bunch on sale yesterday. Of course the pair I wanted werent on sale but still less than the stride rite store - $26.

yes they are, I get great deals at our Stride Rite outlet...but its hit or miss, sometimes you never know what will be there or if something will come back in stock. But definitely worth a try!

If you can make it to the outlets they are cheaper. I saw Alex's walking shoes in the Staten Island Mall for $46 bucks and I got them in the outlet for $27.

I needed new casual shoes for Jacob so I went to Stride Rite at the Broadway mall yesterday and there was alot of the shoes on sale.
Unfortunately, they didn't carry the ones I wanted that I saw on their website and they did not have his size 6.5W in anything that I liked-I was very dissapointed. I even had them call the other stores- Roosevelt fiels and smithhaven to see if they had them and they did not.... so
I was on a mission-- I found them at a great website that carries StrideRite shoes---

I ended up getting them for 34.95 instead of 44...
