Where is evaporated milk in the grocery store?
Like what aisle? I was at the store last night looking for it for a recipe, and could not find it for the life of me. I thought the baking aisle, maybe, but that was a no go. Anyone?

This is going to sound weird.. but I believe the aisle actually says "Milk". It is not in the dairy section. I want to say it's across the aisle from the cookies and on the same side as coffee/tea.

Totally not dumb. I usually buy it by the case in Costco but ran out of it a few weeks ago and was losing my mind looking for it in the grocery store. I finally asked someone and she pointed up at the aisle marker that said "MILK" . I felt like a douche

Wow I really hope the aisle marker doesn't actually say milk b/c I will feel even worse haha...but it probably does!

I laughed when I saw the topic title...
I worked in grocery store for YEARS and this was always one of the most common questions we'd hear daily!
condensed and evaporated milk is in the coffee and tea aisle, at least in my store!

Me too. But it's usually on the lowest shelf, tucked away, so it is easy to miss.

Well, I DID find it last night, and it was in the coffee and tea aisle! AND the sign for that aisle also said CANNED MILK. How pathetic of me. Next time I can’t find something perhaps I will actually read the signs in the store!
And to you ladies who find it in your baking aisles, that’s what I thought I remembered too, but obviously not in my current store! I can’t say I have ever bought condensed or evaporated milk as an adult until now, so I just remember shopping for it with my mom, and I always thought it was with baking. Ah well.
