Where to buy a casual dining set
We live in mid-Suffolk and are looking for a small dining table with a leaf. We are looking for it to seat 4, but 6 with the leaf.
Is heading to route 110 worth it? We aren't looking to spend more than $1000, so I don't know what delivery costs would be from 110. Any place to check out in Suffolk? TIA!!!!!!

Re: Where to buy a casual dining set
The last time I was at Bob's they had some casual sets that weren't that expensive. JC Penney also has some really good prices on dining sets.

Re: Where to buy a casual dining set
This made me smile, Kelly! I have furniture shopped till I literally was ready to quit and just deal with what we have. We were shopping for a casual dining set as well and we finally found something we loved that didn't cost a fortune and looks nice in our kitchen.
Here is where I recommend you look - if anything to get ideas on what is out there.
1. Raymour and Flanigan to see styles/colors.
2. JCPenney - we actually found a set there we liked, but didn't love. Check online and go to the store.
3. Rte 112 - New Penn Furniture - kitchen sets are in the way back on the right side of the building behind all the couches. They have good deals - we bought our couch set from them this past summer. Don't confuse them with old management - Penn Furniture.
4. Rte 112 - 112 Furniture Depot (I believe they are going out of business - they're in patchogue),
5. Rte 112 - Rooms Unlimited - check out the clearance center within the store too.
6. Next door to them is Tiffany's Dinette's (they have good quality, but they are $$$ - at least for what we were looking for).
5. Rte 25 in Selden - Top Dinette - this is where we found our kitchen set. Our new kitchen set
One piece of advice, since you said the table could have a leaf - I recommend looking for a table with a butterfly leaf. What this means is that the leaf or leaves store within the table, so you don't have to worry about storage room.
Good luck!

Re: Where to buy a casual dining set
there is a great inexpensive kitchen place in east northport on jericho tpke. Its a kitchen and dinette place. The guy has been in business forver and I have gotten 2 sets from them already and so have my parents. They will custom do everything and anything with colors for you. Not expensive at all!
