where to buy formal dining room sets
I'm looking for places that sell formal dining room sets - traditional style, nothing too modern/detailed.
I've been to R&F - I saw a set I loved but I wondered about the quality long term?
I went to The Place, didn't see ANYTHING I liked. Ethan Allen is gorgeous but  
Any other recs?

Same here. Hit them during a sale though because they are just as bad as Ethan Allen.

Check out Craigslist also. I've seen alot of nice sets on sale.
Also estate sales. We bought our set (very traditional oak set) from the previous owners but if we didn't it would have been for sale in their estate sale.

We just got ours from Brand Name Furniture in Bohemia and love it. Also, I thought the quality at Ashly was great.

We saw our furniture at Macys but ordered it from Furniture Direct. Still waiting 14 weeks later. It's from Bernhardt.
