where to have pillows sewn?
I was ambitious - and bought fabric and pillow forms from Joanns for new throw pillows in my den.
I don't really know how to use a sewing machine. I am not sure what I was thinking.
Anyway, does anyone know how to find someone who would sew the pillows? And what a reasonable price would be? (three 20inx20in pillows).
I asked a couple of dry cleaners. They said they did that years ago, but not anymore. One of them told me that Joanns does it. Anyone know if this is true?
TIA!

I go to Joann's often, and I've never heard of them sewing for the customers. There are however signs on their bulletin boards for local seamstress services. Do you have a sewing machine? A pillow is just about the easiest thing you can make on one.

Re: where to have pillows sewn?
Thanks for your response. I went to Joanns, and you're right - they' don't sew for customers
They did give me the name of a local seamstress though.
I borrowed my mother in law's sewing machine...and set it all up...and practiced a bit. Then the needle broke. I am just feeling overhwelmed by the project and am ready to just have my pillows on my couch!
