Re: Where to order holiday cards?
I've been using Vistaprint for years. This year, it's $50 for 100 (including shipping and tax). They are full color on both sides, and I can 100% customize absolutely everything on the card. I make all of my own designs and layouts, and have photos on front and back.
They also have lots of templates where you just throw a couple of your photos in the setup, and it will handle the layout and design for you.

CVS. I order online and pick up in the store. They have 50% too right now. 40 cards, envelopes, $17.

I get ripped off and order from tiny prints lol
I order from Simply to Impress so I get ripped off even more. But to me it's worth it- I don't send a ton of cards. And I get professional pics and my photographer only recommends mpix, minted or simply to impress.
Also, folded cards are a must for me. I like to write inside of them like a regular card.
It's once a year...;
So I'm looking to order my cards (again, nations photo lab sucks)...and I was looking at this site and Photo Affections. They must be owned by the same company because they have the same exact cards on both! I wonder if the quality differs though because I've read some not great reviews today about Photo Affections and blurry pics on their cards
What kind of finish do you get? The regular cardstock or the other options (pearl shimmer, etc.)

I get the cardstock matte finish. I do folded cards. I put a note to not color correct as my images have already been edited and color corrected by my photographer. They come out amazing every single year. The paper quality is just so high and it's such a heavy weight card. It just FEELS high quality

Where to order holiday cards?
Trying to decide between the Staples and Photo Affections groupon. Wondering for those who used the photo affections.. does the groupon include shipping costs?

It doesn't include shipping, and it doesn't let you combine the groupon with a code for free shipping. They also charge you tax on what the total price would have been before the groupon. So for the groupon for 40 cards, I paid an additional $13 for tax and shipping. Not terrible, but annoying, since it almost doubled the price of the groupon. But I am very happy with how my cards came out and shipping was pretty fast.

It also only includes one sided cards (not sure if double is important to you). I actually ordered after another company dropped the ball on me (Nations Photo Lab...don't recommend them!!!). I ordered Monday and my cards came yesterday. I did single sided, so no upcharge. Shipping and tax tacked on another $12 to my groupon, so I really don't think the deal is that great now thinking back. I only ordered 25 cards and my total with the groupon was over $25 total. So it's an "eh" deal to me. My cards themselves are okay, the color is off on a few of the pictures, which are professional quality to start with (I did one with a boatload of pics on my card). I might order elsewhere and eat my $25, I'm not sure yet!
I'm just annoyed by the whole xmas card thing this year. I always order ornament cards and Shutterfly ditched them this year. Still not over it!

I have a VIP code for Simply to Impress- 30 % off and free shipping- I am not going to use it- let me know if you want it. Not sure when it expires- I can check!

While I was happy last year with my cards, I also felt Photo Affections isn’t a great Groupon deal. I did order again this year bc I had 40% off, $20 off and free shipping. I haven’t received them yet so I can’t comment on quality. I do recommend Vista print and I like how things can be changed if necessary.

Where to order holiday cards?
I did Staples for the 2nd year in a row. $25 for 100 double sided cards, I made them at 6pm last night and already got an email that they are ready.
I used to pay $$$ for Shutterfly but am so happy w Staples. The designs aren’t as nice as Shutterfly, but I’m saving $100 so I’ll deal with it.

That's a great deal!
I just ordered off Walmart Photo for 40 cents a card.

I agree 100%. I bought the groupon for $15 and then paid an extra $38 for double sided, shipping and tax because you can’t combine the groupon with promo codes. You want to charge extra for double sided, fine, but you can’t use a free shipping code? Irritating. I won’t be ordering from them again. Next year I’ll do staples or vistaprint.

Re: Where to order holiday cards?
I first did through Costco and the new photo cards are smaller than they have been in the past and the quality was terrible. Professional pictures that appeared blurry. I returned. Based on recommendations here I tried Photo affections. I did groupon but with tax and shipping it was more than I originally expected. The first set that came had lightened the pictures, I had old costco card to compare pictures side by side. I emailed on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and got a prompt email response and new cards shipped out almost immediately. Customer service was great.

Re: Where to order holiday cards?
Just as a tip to everyone who is struggling with photo quality of their pro pics on these cards... Always put a note - Please do not color correct or edit in any way.
You professional photographer should have already edited the pics and color corrected.
there is no need for these places to be touching your pics at all.
I write this every time and never had an issue since
