I don't do a business but I love to buy from Tastefully Simple, and I really like going to those parties.

Did anybody hear of Clever Container? It looks like great organizing products. I'm just not sure how well it will do.

Honestly looking at the products I see nothing I'd want to buy and I love direct sales! A lot of the products or something similar can be found in the store. I honestly do not think this would be a good business, if you want organization I'd try 31 gifts or initials inc, the products are different and fun and cute. This is JMHO though

I'm an organizing addict . I looked through their catalog and they have cute stuff to organize BUT you can get those same items elsewhere for much cheaper. I like the concept but I think it's a little too pricey. Between Target, Walmart, and Home Goods.........I can get more for less.
I've tried Barefoot Books but the money wasn't great and most people just didn't seem interested. I'm a children's book fanatic so I thought it would be great but I didn't do well with it.
I've also tried At Home America. They have really nice things, I loved a lot of their stuff, but they are a touch pricey. I did okay for a while but ultimately, a lot of customers at the parties were put off by the cost.
I also tried Scentsy but that was short lived. I actually love their stuff and think it could've been a good opportunity but it was just wrong timing on my end. I was pregnant and between that, dealing with my DD, and then a NB baby, I just didn't have the time to devote to it.
ETA - My personal opinion, find something that makes people have a need to come back for more. You need repeat business. That's why I thought Scentsy was great. People need to come back to you for more wax for their burners. They will have a continuous need which means a steady stream of business for you.
While I love Pampered Chef, as an example, once you have the garlic press.........you have the garlic press. There's no motivation to place another order once the party is over. KWIM?

Give Thirty-One a try
It's actually the #1 party-plan company in the country right now. But it's still new to the Northeast, so I feel like there is a ton of room for growth around here. I joined for some "me" time out of the house, and wound up with so much more! Good income, new friends (both consultants and customers) and they always have an incentive going on for consultants. I just earned myself a $700 Best Buy gift card above and beyond my commission. And, there are little to no requirements. Just goals! I am seriously loving it and I am so glad I made that choice!
