Which do you prefer - smaller or larger alarm companies?

We went with a smaller company & have found them to be very good. I believe it is a personal preference

We had ADT come in & give us an estimate & it was just so much!

We went with a larger company. We went with Slomins. We know people that have used them and we have oil with them so we got a discount on the alarm. We have been extremely pleased.

Brinks, the salesman didn't try to sell me crap I didn't need. I have the 3 doors and 2 motion detectors with 2 key pads. I hate it when people say "you need your windows alarmed, you need......., you need........; if they get in without using a door the motion detectors will get them.
People watch too many movies and think someone is going to do a special ninja walk through your house which will not set off the motioin detector.

With all the "security/safety" aspects done to the house (alarm, locksmith, etc..), I always use the main/big companies. I feel safer with them. They are well known with a big "door front".
