Out of the moderates - I would probably say - Caribbean Beach.
Out of the Values - I know alot of people say - Pop (but I have never stayed there)

Are you only looking to stay on Disney property? Because there are tons of timeshares in the area and I always find it's best to have more room and a kitchen when traveling with kids.

I think we're going to do Orange Lake so we have the separate area for Ryan when he's sleeping, and option to eat-in. My ILs have a timeshare there so we're familar with the hotel.
Just vouching for this one if you are interested in outside of Disney.

That's my timeshare too! We absolutely love it there!! When are you going? We're going June 13.

Re: Which moderate Disney resort is the best for kids?
I too can say Orange Lake is great! My parents own a timeshare there and the proximity to Disney property is unbelievable. They even completed a highway within the last couple of years that runs through Orange Lake, right into Disney. Orange Lake has a new(ish) pool area called River Island (where my parent's unit is) and it's really lush, pretty and seems very kid friendly. There's a lazy river, slides and it's the sort of pool that looks like the ocean - you walk in gradually so it's nice for little kids!
I don't have any real advice for Disney hotels with kids because I've only ever been there as an adult with my husband. But when my brother and sister were little we stayed in the All Star Music and it seemed fine. I think the value resorts are definitely geared towards families with children who are looking to do the trip economically - which can be great for saving money but also bad because they tend to fill up quickly, and there are tons of children running around the place. But they do seem a little more whimsical than some of the more expensive resorts, which might be more fun for your children! Hope that helped even a little

Pop is a value(and great for kids) and unless you are getting a $1 booking, I would pay for a value over a moderate since there isn't that big of a difference.

ITA. We stood at All Star resorts and it was great. I've also stood at the moderate (New Orleans something) which was nice too but IMO not worth the price difference.

ITA also. There isn't such a big difference between the value and the moderate. I also think that the values are more fun for the kids, theme wise. If you want to do a moderate try the Caribbean Beach.
