which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
I'm a little sick of the yellow, which I got for my shower, and was thinking of returning it for this other one on amazon. Of course, the butterfly pattern amazon has is adorable, but not so great for a boy.
which do you like better?

Re: which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
I wish I could help. I am having a boy too and received the yellow one because they dont sell the other one at BRU where I registered. Im so on the fence about swapping the colors.
I think they are both gender neutral but I feel like the second one, blends in with my home better. I am tad nervous of my house looking all baby as selfish as that may sound.

they sell the other one at target or through amazon. I still think I like it better. Not crazy about the yellow at all, and also don't want everything looking very baby.

thanks girls I agree and so does the poll! Now here's hoping MIL won't care that I'm exchanging her gift, but she's pretty cool like that.

Re: which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
We received both, I registered for the yellow pattern at BRU. I didn't even know the rock and play sleeper "split rings" pattern existed (from Target) we both liked it a lot better anyway so we kept it and exchanged the yellow one for diapers.

Re: which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
Does anyone know if one is better than the other/or the difference bet the two? One is more expensive than the other? On Target's website the features of the yellow one are slightly diff than the split rings one:

Split rings ($50.99): Features •Features: Padded Seat •Care and Cleaning: Machine Wash •Minimum Weight Supported: 5.0 Lb. •Maximum Weight Capacity: 25.0 Lb. •Manufacturer's Suggested Age: 0-6 Months •Material: Cotton, Polyester •Dimensions: 21.0 " H x 24.5 " W x 32.0 " D •Weight: 8.5 Lb.

i "think" the price is different b/c the split rings (and the butterfly pattern) are newer than the yellow, the yellow has been around.
I'm pretty sure they are exactly the same - did you pull the features off amazon or target? Now I definitely want to check it out in store before I order.. thanks!

I pulled the features of target's website...I think the biggest two things that stand out to me are that they are two diff heights (yellow one is higher) and two diff age req...Yellow one says one month +

Re: which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
okay, it's just a new model - on the customer service website it tells you what year each came out. the split rings is 2011.

Re: which rock and play sleeper pattern for a boy
I am not seeing the split rings design on the target website or Amazon. Do you have to actually go in Target to see if they have it? I like the split rings better. I registered for the yellow at BBB. I want the split rings instead.. anyone know where else I can get it? TIA
