Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

I am in the market for one. Which do you have? I want one that Molly can sit or stand. Some are only stand and she gets too tired to not have the "sit" option.

Thanks.

The only one where Molly can sit while Jason is reclined in the front is the Baby Trend one. You can get it at Target, or order it through One Step Ahead, which is where I got mine from. It doesn't say Baby Trend on it, only One Step Ahead, but it comes in a box from Baby Trend and all the paperwork has their name on it.

i got mine from One Step Ahead too and it says One Step Ahead. I don't have the box, but I agree that its identical to the Baby Trend one.

Just don't get the Joovy one in BRU or BBB if you plan on having Molly sit while the front seat is in recline. This option doesn't work on this model.

I just got the Baby Trend one, Michele and I love it. The one I got has a Parent tray too which I love having. It was $135 with taxes and shipping included from stroller depot and they had a few colors to choose from. It was $119 in Target without tax but I didnt like the color.

Glad you like it! As I was replying, I was thinking about you and wondering if you ever got it!

Totally wish mine had come with the parent tray. If you have any idea where I can order one separately, please let me know! For now I have a velcro one I use from a jogging stroller, but it doesn't cut it!

ETA:

Cathy, Liz, do you use the canopy? I don't, it just seems to block my view of Lauren and I find it harder to fold up, so I just haven't used it at all. It's sitting in the back of my car!

We also have the BabyTrend one. It has attachements so we can also put the infant seat in the front while DS sits or stands in the back. We love it. Well made, relatively easy to handle, since it's not quite as long as a double stroller.

I have the Target Baby Trend one and it is fantastic!

I was just reading your updates on Adaoption and congrats on not only having a date to bring home your son, but on your lactation efforts! That is truly amazing! Jason is one lucky boy!

Re: Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

I'm looking into getting one also, and a friend of mine has the Joovy-she loves it, and it looks so sleek & compact.
I couldnt wait to go out & get one, and to finally retire my big double stroller!

I wouldve gotten that one w/o question, but have been reading on here that one drawback is the child cant sit when the front seat is reclined.

SO I went to Target to get the babytrend, and it looked GIGANTIC compared to the Joovy.
The pictures online were deceiving to me-it looked just as big as the graco double.
Now Im so confused!

Question for you ladies - the Baby Trend one you can buy from either Target or Onestepahead.com and they are both exactly the same?

I don't use it b/c I have a Camry and it won't fit in my trunk with it on. That's really been the only drawback.

It's definately bigger than the Joovy, but smaller than my duoglider. Sarah being able to sit was really important to me, I couldn't see keeping her on there standing if she was having a meltdown in a store.

As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same.

I have the sit and stand stroller by joovy. the other sit and stand stollers were still too big imo. i love it. it manuvers really smooth. plenty of room in the storage basket on the bottom and im not too sure why everyone says the standing child doesnt have an option of sitting when the front is reclined, because i dont find that the case. but then again, i never had an infant seat in the front. so that may be the difference.

I tried it out in BRU back in November and reclined the seat and there was no room for Sarah to sit. Maybe you have a different model?

I also tried the Joovy in BBB and no room on the jump seat to sit if the front seat is reclined. And it MUST be reclined if you have the infant seat in it. That's why we got the Baby Trend one, it is longer, but still light and easy to maneuver.

I returned the Joovy-Did not like how front could not recline w/back rider sitting
Also did not like how it closed

Also returned the New Fisher Price model @BRU Impossible to stear. Had the employees try it out to see for themselves. PLUS it is huge

So I have gone where I did not want to go and got the Aria side by side. Until I find the PERFECT sit & standChat Icon

Re: Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

I have the sit an Stand from One step Ahead. I have the one without the parent tray. I bought it like 1 month befoe=re the new model with the parent tray came out. I called Baby Trend and asked them if I could buy a Parent tray and they told me I couldn't, that it wouldn't fit on my model.

My new problem: I am due in May. I have a 3 1/2 yr old and a 14 mont old. They will bealmost 4 and 18 months when the new bay is born. I LOVE MY SIT N STAND!! Now what do I do? My dd is to active to walk in the mall or anywhere else , so I need to contain her if I'm out and my dd loves to sit or stand when he gets tired. Has anyone seen a Double Sit and Stand???

Re: Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

I have a quick question...Is 18-months too young for a sit and stand? Christopher gets RESTLESS sitting in the double stroller and I'm wondering if this would be better or if he's still too young for it....Chat Icon

Re: Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

I don't think anyone makes a double sit and stand..you would need a triple strollerChat Icon I have never tried to push one of those though.

I think for an 18 month old it could work because you have so many options- siting, standing or being in the front seat.

Re: Which Sit & Stand Stroller do you have?

My ds won't sit in a stoller, and my dd is an animal. You take her out of the stroller and she is everywhere. Ds loves that her can sit or stand when he is tired. I'm out of room now with the Sit n Stand. They need to make a double one for people with 3 kids.
