Which test first, an HSG or endometrial biopsy?
My Dr wants me to have an endometrial biopsy before he will let me have an HSG. The biopsy sounds painful compared to the HSG. He told me there are many risks/side effects with an HSG which is why he wants the biopsy first. But I have known many people who have had the HSG and they said it wasnt bad.

Not sure if this is the same thing but I had an endometral biopsy like 2 months ago because my pap came back with endometrial cells. Turned out everything was fine just a misread of my pap b/c I was still menstruating.
Anyway, the biopsy was nothing. It took 5 minutes and was not at all what I thought it would be. Yes it was uncomfortable but totally bareable, and I am a whimp when it comes to pain lol
