Re: Which yogurt for a 6 month old?
My DS is EBF. I started oatmeal , pears, bananas, apples, sweet potatoes around 5.5 mo. He turned 6 mo few days ago, he had a flu shot 2 days later and PEDtold me I can start Yo baby organic yogurt. I was surprised because with my DD I started around 10 mo -that's when I started giving her regular organic cows milk. But the PED said it's fine, he said the only reason they say no cow's milk yet is because it doesn't have all the essential vitamins baby's need at such a young age... I always thought it was because of allergy scare . Anyway, I started yo baby yogurt yesterday and DS loves it, he did fine, so I gave him more this morning.
Ped said to replace 2 feedings with baby food, like oatmeal, yogurt or fruit/veggies.
