white distilled vinegar
OK I feel really dumb but I am the worst cook ever, I rarely ever cook anything actually... But I was craving pasta salad (weird pregnancy craving at 9pm) So i got the Good Seasons Italian dressing and recipe mix, and it says to use vinegar, and the only vinegar I have in the house is white distilled vinegar....is that what Im supposed to use? Or am i supposed to use like a balsamic vinegar? TIA

Re: white distilled vinegar
yes that is fine. Sometimes balsamic is too strong for dressing like that. I also buy the red wine vinegar and keep that at home for just this reason

You can use it...I always use red wine vinegar though b/c I like it better for the Good Seasons dressing.
