White nursery furnature?
How many people like the idea of white nursery furnature?

I'm old fashion and only like it for a girl, but because we will re-use the set for other kids, we are sticking with a light oak/or light pine.

Personally I just don't like white anything. Cribs, dressers, even kitchen cabinets. But that is just me. Im more of a dark wood chick.

I like white furniture for a boy or a girl. We haven't ordered ours yet so I don't know which one we'll be getting. I would like either a white crib and dresser or cherry.

ITA. i have always liked white best for a baby's room - it's just my personal preference.
i do love the darker furniture they have out now, but all the rest of the furniture in our home is very dark... i want this to feel as much like a nursery as possible, and to me, that means white.

i like the way it looks, but my nephew has a white crib and he bites on it. there are little white paint chips everywhere and the crib wasn't cheap either!

Kids bite on the crib rails all the time. They make gummi rails for it. That is what we had to do for DS.

I LOVE white for both genders! We are having a boy and will be ordering white furniture. The nursery is painted light blue with white closets and door and a white fan....so it will coordinate nicely!!!

oh they have gummi rails, but this kid bites right under it, it's really his bottom teeth that are scraping the paint off.

I love the white furniture but dh wouldn't allow it b/c he says that the paint chips and if you go to BRU and look at the displays some of them have a little so we decided not to

I am not a fan of white furniture but only because it wouldn't flow with my taste or house. I like warm woods and bold, deep colors (cranberry, navy, etc.) in my house so white just wouldn't work. It can look beautiful though in a room, it just depends on your taste and style.
