white or yellow cake recipe....
I am looking for a cake recipe that lets the buttercream do the talking. I have a delicious yellow cake recipe, but it has such a strong flavor that it competes with the buttercream.
Anyone have recipes to recommend?

The recipe is half yellow cake and half pound cake. It is delish, but you do get a strong pound cake flavor.
