white pants
i'm deciding that 46 will be the age where i do things outside of my comfort zone.
i have not worn white pants since i was a kid and someone else dressed me. i always felt i would be a slob or my ass was too fat to be in a pair of white pants.
can you share pictures and/or links of nice ways to wear white pants?

I would check Pintrest for styling ideas.
That's my go to when I don't know how to pull an outfit together or need inspiration.
And with white pants just be careful how tight they are- I feel like when i try to wear white skinny jeans- they show every bump, lump, piece of cellulite, etc. Its almost like they just HIGHLIGHT it. Like look!! Here I am!!!! That dimple on your left ass cheek!!!! HIIIIIII!!!!!

Thick material is important. I agree with Pinterest. You can find some great style ideas there.
I can’t pull off light colored fitted pants in general. I have way too much cellulite to feel comfortable. I always try them on in the hopes ill like how I look but it never ends well lol

Gorgeous. I love that top!
My issue is I see all these great outfits online but can't find the exact pieces and then I go nuts trying to find something exactly like what I saw and it never works.
So frustrating.
But that looks amazing- let me know if you can find a top like that. I want one!

I love white pants and probably have close to 10 pairs. A few pairs of white jeans, the Alfani pull on pants from Macy's (Alfani pants) and a few white dress pants. White and navy always looks great, but so do so many other colors - from brights to pastels, any color really.

These ON Swing Tanks are so versatile and available in a variety of colors.
Not sure why they are called swing tanks. They have a slight A-line shape. Not billowy as shown in the pics. I have several of these tanks and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are SO soft. I wear with jeans, leggings, cargo pants. They would look great with white skinny jeans.
Here is another top option. Only available in black online but they might have additional colors in-store.

Definitely. They are a little flowy but not as exaggerated as in the pics. I washed and dried them first and they shrunk nicely.

I like the Old Navy pixie pants. I have a few and the white material is not too thin so I feel like lumps and bumps are covered and they're not flowy so they don't get wrinkled.

So now I want white pants, but I am the dirtiest person ever. I'm like Pigpen from Peanuts- I feel like a cloud of dirt and dust just follows me around!
I know I will have to wash them like twice a day.
And with my luck, I'll wear them and unexpectedly get my period or something!

this is why i don't own anything white and why i wear a lot of browns, grays, and blacks.
i'm trying to get out of my comfort zone

I love this with the white pants (ordered those just now on Old Navy). But, this shirt is out of stock in medium, darn! Got black though!
I would order the pants online, since they are 40% off!

Thanks to those who suggested Old Navy. I finally got around to going. They have different white pants right now. I bought a pair of "pixy" in the thicker fabric. I was able to zip up a pair of size 4, but they were ridiculously tight... so I went with a size 6. They're snug and I should be able to wear them by the summer.
I can't believe a pair of white pants are making me so happy!! Yay.

If you try them on again and don’t love them try banana republic or br factory outlet. I had white pants from banana (lined) and white jeans from the outlet and I Love both so much. Made well too.
I get the money would be more than old navy but in a case like this you might want to try it

Old Navy's quality is awful that's why. Avoid it like the plague

I Looooovvvvveeee the Old Navy Pixie pants! Have so many for work and the quality has been great. I can't speak for the white ones though, I don't wear white pants.

update lol
the pixie pants in all other colors are awesome.
the pixie pants in white, not so much.
i returned the pants at old navy.
then, i went to target with my sister to get some stuff for the family BBQ this coming week.
i found the perfect pair of white pants. the fabric is thick enough that nothing shows. and they are comfy even though they're a little tight in the thighs.
i should be able to fit in them nicely by my birthday.
yay.
