Not my child....but me.
My maiden name is Kathryn Linton, which is from Wuthering Heights (well she was Catherine, but my mom changed the spelling on purpose b/c she was an English teacher)

I have a friend who was named Elizabeth after Elizabeth Taylor. Another, named her daughter Regan after President Regan.

me and my sister were named after an actress. my mom was obsessed with a show called Soap in the 70s. The girl on the show...her character was Corinne Tate-Flotsky. My sister is Corinne. and her name in real life is Diana Canova...and I'm Diana.

My mom got my name Julie from Julie Williams from Days of our Lives, she was a popular character in the 70s.
I first heard the name Landon on the show Meet the Barkers (Travis Barkers son is Landon). I wouldn't say I named him after the show but it was the first place where I heard the name. Although everyone assumes I got his name from A Walk to Remember.

I won't say that I named Jack after him - but we love 24 and how strong Jack Bauer is....I always thought it was such a strong name.

Crashing, but my mom named me after the main character in a spanish Soap Opera of the same name in the 70's. It's funny, but turns out there are a lot of hispanic girls around my same age with the same name (some changed the spelling to start with a J and some spell with two S's etc).

I "borrowed" the name Lily from Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose Melody.
I've had a crush on him forever, and I loved the name Lily, and how it went with my last name.
And I liked that her name is sort of like my name without being exact.....
And I changed the middle name to Anne because that's my middle name.
Of course, it's going to be awkward when she marries his son and has to explain how her name came to be!!

Ditto.. but my middle name.
Some really big deal Novella star. My grandma named my aunt after her and then I got it too.. its a very uncommon N name and has been a treat and a haunt my whole life.

I was sort of named after the actress Jennifer O'Neill who was popular in the seventies. My mom thought she was beautiful and liked the name.

My cousin is expecting a daughter in February and they are naming her Remy after the character on house. I don't know if it's really "after" her, but I know they never heard of that name until she came on the show.

my mom  my name, Lori Beth, was the name of Richie Cunningham's girlfriend on Happy Days. i would say my mom was smoking something, but she was pregnant, so there goes that theory

Ok, this is really
but I didn't name him after this character, but after hearing the name so much, it stuck with me, and I liked it alot...Ethan from Passions...the soap on NBC. 
DH doesn't know why I chose it..I suggested it and he like the name LOL.

Your DD has two family names for my family.
My grandmother was Charlotte and my uncle (her son) was Parker. And Parker was our girl middle name too, we toyed with Charlotte Parker as a full name
