Well I always liked the name Charlie (for years). DH always said NO. Well, after we rented all the Lost seasons DVD last year, Charlie was my favorite character and all of a sudden, DH said if we ever had another boy we could name him Charlie. And I loved the name even more.
Well, we're having a girl, but still going with Charlie (DH was worried though - so We will officially name her Charlotte and call her Charlie)
So technically, my daughter will be named after a guy

DW used to work with two women named "Queen Anne" and "Queen Elizabeth"... 
OMG the stories my DH and his partner have about names.
DH's partner has seen twins named Twina and Twinb and he has even seen the famous Female (Fe-mal-ee).
DH got an ID where the woman's name was "Mommee N. Daddiee"

My BFF has two daughers, Lydia and Lizzie, inspired from Pride& Prejudice. I was watching ER when I decided to name my son Noah, and I would quite like to name the one I am carrying Imogen, deffo inspired from my husband favorite singer, Imogen Heap.

My mom's name is Andrea...after the ship that sank..the Andrea Dorea.
I was named after Stefanie Powers.
Nobody famous with my kids...even though people joke with me that since I like Nick Lachey, I named my son Nikolas. Not true..

I have always been a fan of Liam Neeson
Not that I named DS after him, but I always liked the name and a big part of that was associating it with him.

My mom got my name from a character on a soap too.
My dad insists that he picked the name from the Edgar Allen Poe poem, "the Raven". But, that's a little morose for me since the Lenore in that poem is dead/a ghost so I'll go with the Soap character angle.

I've thought about Elizabeth since Elizabeth Bennet is my favorite literary character. I also like Jayne/Jane for her sister and Darcy, well for Darcy
However, Lydia is a scatter brain with loose morals so I would never name by daughter after her

B4 I read Brangalina I thought you were talking about the Transformers star.
Mason isn't named for anyone famous, but we needed an "M" after my Great Uncle and I first heard it on "What Happens in Vegas" and loved it.

Not my child....but me.
My maiden name is Kathryn Linton, which is from Wuthering Heights (well she was Catherine, but my mom changed the spelling on purpose b/c she was an English teacher)
My favorite book of all time.
I really wanted to name Noah Heath - but Rob vetoed it pretty early on. My sister is named after Eleanor Roosevelt. And my girlfriend named her daughter River because of River Phoenix. Before he overdosed and died.

My DD is named after actress Vivien Leigh (she played Scarlett in Gone with the Wind).
Ever since I saw the movie I loved the name Viviane and always knew once I have DD I will name her that.....

ETS: I was named after Kate Jackson's character in Charlie's Angels - Sabrina. My father had a crush on her...lol
Everyone ALWAYS says "OHHH your parents named you after the Audrey Hephburn film huh?" ummm not quite
