Who has tried acupunture to induce labor..did it work?
My midwife advised acupuncture to induce labor and I work for a holistic veterinary who has also recommended this. Just curious, have any of you ladies had acupuncture to induce labor that has worked? How far along were you? TIA

I was 2 days shy of my due date with a big baby. I went to acupuncture at 2:30, my water broke by 2:55 (on the table), and I started having contractions by 3:10 or so. I was in active labor by 4pm!
ETA: I saw my midwife at 5:3m and I was 4cm dilated, had DS at 6:08 the following morning

I had it on my due date. I started having mild contractions that night and the next day, and had my DD within 48 hours of the appointment.
