I am hopefully about to receive this grant and was told to bring my W-2's in the office(I have been nagging the poor girl in finance since the day we knew we were doing IVF lol!!)...Per my RE office , they said that the $$ hasnt been to released to any centers yet and should be coming in any day now...From my understanding, some of the criteria is that you must currently have insurance that doesnt cover IVF, have an income of less than 200K and have a documented case of IF (or something like that)...I'm sorry but I can't remember anything else....

I have all of those conditions I think...when do they look at the income. My DH owns his own business so his income has varied from year to year. I hope they look at 2007!!

Yes and they tell you what to do. If you want to look up stats for each of these clinics go to SART.org

NO! He never got back to my friend. She is going to try to get in touch with him in another way...We have a backup plan though(I am going to apply for the grant and take $$ out of my 401K to pay. $ucks but I have to do it.

We have to borrow some of the money from my moms 401K, b/c we had a wedding loan out on ours already still being paid off and that was with the grant. It totally stinks and I HATED and was very upset for quite a while that people were lucky enough to get PG without paying "interest" on it. But I dealt with it, and when you have that baby it will be worth it.

We got the grant and used NSUH, the lady in finance there was very helpful. As I remember you have to pay a percentage of the treatment which is based on your joint income, so you will need to provide W2. You must also have had no more than three failed IVF cycles, have an FSH under 10 and I think you have to be under the age of 43 (but I might be wrong about that bit) Also you cannot have any IVF coverage on your insurance - if you have insurance. We still paid thousands, but it was much cheaper than paying in full (obviously) Good luck
