I actually just switched my obgyn Didnt get an appt yet but heard great things about them its the Biordi group in Mineola they are affliated with Winthrop hospital

All the docs at University Plaza (Garden City) are great.
Dr. Miller is my regular doc, i've been seen by Dr. Cafaro at several visits and Dr. Rosenberg delivered DD2....LOVE HIM!!!
All the staff are awesome!!

i know that i'm not the only one who says:
DR. COHEN with Women's Health & Wellness is the BEST BEST BEST!
i can't say enough about him, but let me put it to you this way, one of his patients, an LIF'er who just moved to Jersey, is thinking about traveling to LI just to have his as her doctor still!
i know i would!

I use Dr. Gus San Roman in Port Jefferson and LOVE him. The office staff is wonderful, the NPs/midwives in the practice are amazing, he has a sono machine and tech in the office, and will draw blood right there for you, too. He delivers at St. Charles.
Just a personal story to illustrate how wonderful he is... My water broke on Easter Sunday 2008 and ended up needing a c-section the next day. He was off (he has a large family and always takes off for his children's school breaks). At the time, he was working with another doc who I didn't know very well (and what I did know, I didn't love). Once I found out it was c-section time I was bummed because the NP/midwife would have to step aside and I needed a doc. Michelle Mayer (NP/midwife) came into my room an hour before the c-section and told me I would be happy, but Dr. Gus' wife would not be... she called him and explained the situation and he was on his way to the hospital to perform my surgery. He told me afterward that his brother (Dr. Gabe San Roman of RS of NY, an RE) had gotten me to this point (IVF) and he wanted to finish the job. I was so touched!

Same here! Dr. Cafaro delivered DS and he was wonderful!! I'd seen Dr. Miller and Rosenberg in the office as well and they were awesome too. LOVE THEM!!!

Same here. Although Dr. Miller delivered my son and that was the first time I ever met him and I really didn't like his attitude. But he did a good job. And everyone I have ever spoken to that has used him LOVES him. I LOVE Dr. Cafaro. Only met Rosenberg a couple times but I like him.

I go to this practice too. I mostly see Dilena and Nadell lately, but Lopresti delivered DD#2 and was wonderful! They deliver at winthrop. The office is called Complete Women's Care in Garden City. Their staff is wonderful too.

Dr. Dean in Garden City. He is the head at South Nassau Hospital. I think he is wonderful and when I developed Cholestasis he monitored me very closely and consulted with RE drs. at Madonna.
He as sono (madonna) in office. At basic blood work can be done there but I did need to go to the lab a few times for more details tests.

I go to Dr Cohen as well and I LOVE him BUT I'm considering using a new doctor next time around for two reasons...
His sonogram dr. (who I find to be miserable and nasty) is only in two days a week and only has morning hours...so I lost a lot of days especially in the end when they were making me go every week.
The major reason why I want to switch is because I had a horrible, horrible experience at LIJ and I honestly would never want to step foot in there again.

Dr. Matalon - permissions at Good Sam and Southside. He's fantastic - calm, professional and knowledgeable. He never makes you feel dopey no matter what the question. And he always calls back personally whenever you call.

Dr. Kramer. Offices in Huntington and Commack. Been going to him for years.
He didn't deliver my kids though.
Another Dr. in the practice (no longer there) delivered my DS at Huntington.
My DD I was seeing a bunch of High Risk Drs.
I delivered at NSUH Manhasset and my experience there was Great.
Both hospitals were excellent.
