I loved that place. I think I had my 5th birthday party there and I hung out there on Friday nights when I was in junior high.

I used to LOVE Laces...
I had one of my birthday parties there and of course attended a lot as well.
Then when I was like 12, we used to cruise for boys!!

I loved Laces. I remember putting on my coolest pair of overalls, feathering my hair and skating all day. Ahhh...the memories

Ahhh Laces brings back some of my favorite childhood memories!!! I would go on Friday nights (of course the early session) and Sunday afternoons.
Boys only skate was your chance to stick your hand over the railing and nab your couples on skate partner.
Those were the days!!!

I think I've only been to LACES in New Hyde Park once. I used to frequest Hot Skates - and occasioanlly United Skates of America!
