Who to call for new windows and front door?
We have a high ranch and want to replace the original windows downstairs. We also want estimates on a new front door. Should I call a contractor or is there a way to eliminate the middle man? I'd like to be able to find someone who can do both.
Any recs?

try tristate. They did our windows and did a great job...I am pretty sure they do doors too.
Also unified does both. The prices there are great but we did hear some iffy reviews so we chose not to go with them.
I am sure there are many other companies that do both.

not sure where you are, but we have a high ranch as well and when we moved in a little over 2 years ago, we used active door & window in port jefferson station to do our front door & kitchen window.
we will more than likely be using them for windows again this year.
my dad and sister have both used them for front doors and windows as well; that is why i went with them. no complaints here.
