DH and I went up to the polls early this morning before I went to work to vote!! It's the first time we voted in our new district!

Did those of you who voted already have the same experience I did?
I was easily the only person under 75 there. 
They all kept thanking me and gushing over the "young person" taking an interest in politics.

No one said anything to us, but we were def the only people there under 60.

To be honest I'm not really sure what we're voting for today. I'm generally pretty involved in neighborhood politics, but with my new job and other resposibilities I haven't been to a civic meeting in a few months and I haven't gotten any literature. I know for assembly and state senate we voted last time..so I'm not even sure what's going on today..city council members?

I wonder if the age thing is b/c you went during the day. At night (at least by me) there is a wide spectrum of ages at the polls.

I voted! The volunteers were older and I think I was the only one voting at the time. I'm sure younger people go after work...
