Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only set that I liked for a boy was an expensive one - and I don't regret buying it at all. I feel it makes the room. I have the comforter draped over the chair and if he spits up on the bumpers then so be it - I'll do my best to clean it out.
To each his own I guess.

I would if I liked it that much.
People told me I was nuts for spending what I did on DD's, but I get tons of compliments on it and to this day, I'm still in love with the set! I have no regrets And I will do the same for #2 (and however many more we have.)
I can't say DD has ever spitup, pooped or peed on her bedding. The sheets, yes. The bumpers, crib skirt and blanket, no.
I agree. I don't consider the set I got for DD a waste at all. I still love it to this day!
I agree with both. I don't regret spending what i have spent.

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a custom made set for DD nursery and I do not have any regrets for the amount I spend on it at all. To each his own.

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would pay it. If it was something I *really* loved. ITA with "to each his own". I wouldn't judge anyone who paid $20 or $2000.

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
JMO, but I would not pay that much for crib bedding. I have an average priced bedding set and I am worried about it gettting dirty or stained. My own bedding is not even silk.

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't spend it on a baby bedding set. Like someone else said, they can't even use the blanket until they are older. I spent about $60.00 on DD's set that I found on clearance and it's pretty enough

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get it...not when it's recommended to have an empty crib where does the baby sleep?
eta: maybe this is like the basement kitchens...gorgeous kitchens upstairs that no one ever cooks in maybe there is a SIDS friendly crib hidden in the room
