Whole House Water Filtration
Anyone have this? Did you have the water dept come down and check out your water first so you know what you were trying to filter out?

I just posted this same question an hour ago! Are you asking about the reverse osmosis system?

Whole House Water Filtration
Do you have public water or well water? If public, a Culligan whole house system works well to remove excess iron, acid or bad tastes. If well water you should have your water tested. The water company can give you the names of several labs that do it. It usually doesn't test water unless there is a health issue.
I have a well and have had my water tested a number of times over the years. I also have a Culligan system which removes excess minerals such as iron - which turns water poured over a tea bag black instantly - calcium and manganese.
