whos had bunion surgery?
what are your thoughts? yay or nay?
i need it in both feet and i dont know if i should do it or not.

Holy crap, I need it, too...with all my years of pointe work and also people in my family have it. I'm doubly screwed. But it's 2 weeks off per foot, according to the foot doctor I saw! I just don't have that kind of time off.....

I had it done - both feet. Had them both done on a Tuesday, returned to work the following Monday. Soooo glad I did it. Ask any questions!

My aunt had it done and was off her feet for about 2 weeks and she had to wear flat for a while and comfortable ones at that.

I've heard good and bad about it. My friend was out of work for a while.
The time off you need to take falls under short term disability so you don't use your personal time or vacation time.
