Who's not going out for New Year's Eve?
DH and I are just going out for dinner, but we may just stay home and grill a steak or something.

we are not.
I am pregnant and cant drink and thats a nightmare for me... So I cannot be around people drinking or I will be a miserable biotch....DH understands this and thus we are staying home

We're making filet mignon and having a glass of wine- BIL and SIL might stop by but that's about it. Oh and some very festive diaper changes too!

We are staying home and doing a nice dinner here - since I am pregnant it doesn't make sense to go out where most of the night is about drinking - and we figured we could use the money for something we need more.

Not us. Overrated and over priced!
I agree. I've gone out to catering halls in the past and they're fun, but I'm just not into that stuff anymore. not only that but one of us won't be able to drink (and that isn't fun for either of us) and then we'll be on the road really late on amateur night

We are staying in too. DH is going to make lasagne (sp?). We have some snacks and stuff too. We both have not been feeling to great lately and we don't have any money

i ws planning on going to my sisters and stay over but a friend dis un able to control there drinking just assumed i was driving them i am seriously thinking of staying home!!! 2 years i was the dd for new years and this year i think i deserve to be able to drink!!!! but now he thinks he will drive ummmmm not you have no clue as to when to stop and then drive MY car umm i think not!!!!!  ok vent over sorry

going out to a local restaurant and then to the beach for champagne at midnite. all local stuff. they have fireworks here by the Opera House, kind of like waiting for the ball to drop in Times Square, but I dont feel like waiting around for 10 hours to get a decent spot. restaurants in that area are $700 a person for tonite (it is new years eve here), so local it is!

staying home, and i cannot WAIT! this is the first year in maybe 15 years i am staying in, and there is nothing i would rather be doing. dh is making filet mignon and lobster and we are drinking wine and champagne and ringing in the new year in style.

We are staying home. We always have.
I'll make a nice dinner and we'll be asleep by 9 I usually roll over to see the clock around 11:30 or 12.
I'd rather have an early night with the pillow than be out driving, pay ridiculous prices and be around sauced people.

we always stay home, DH's birthday is jan 1st & he doesn't like NYE parties out so we usually have people over.
This year its really small (& I'm happy about it) just DH & I, my stepdaughter, my friend & her niece. They will sleep over.
