Why are so many of the shorts for baby girls so short??
Mady has a bunch of hand-me-down shorts, plus some that my mom got her. I put them on her for the first time today (the cotton Circo brand ones) and they are so short they are like booty shorts. Seriously, why do they make shorts like this for baby girls???
I HATE them. I went out and bought her a bunch of longer shorts today, but let me tell you, they weren't easy to find. The majority of them are soooo short.
She might as well just wear a diaper if she is going to wear those shorts.

I know! I hate those! I dont have a girl, but DS's shorts are short for a boy! I dont like them either, they dont seem right to me, but since hes a baby and its hot I guess it'll do. The juniors dept on the other hand for pre-teens make me sick and worried for my future kids!

I actually find the opposite -
DD's shorts are so short she might as well not be wearing any, and DS's are so long, he might as well be wearing pants!!
But OMG I really hope the styles change in the next 10 years or so because I will NOT want her wearing those shorts then!

I just experienced this with shorts I got from Old Navy. So short and tight. I think I am returning them. Almost like they were mismarked.

i'm the odd one here, i love how cute the booty shorts look on DD, hehehe. i saw a pair of tennis shorts at macy's that were so flipping adorable i got them for her immediately.
