Why cant men keep it in their pants?
Eva Longoria and Tony parker are getting a divorce because he is, maybe, having an affair.
Tiger Woods....
Charlie Sheen....
Bathazar Getty...
Jesse James....
The list can go on and on.
I had a single moment today of "If Eva Longoria cant keep a husband, how the hell do I have a chance?"
(Its almost that time for me, so I get a little crazy)
But I just dont get it? Its almost like they HAVE to see what else they can get. I mean, Im not a lesbian, but If I were married to Eva Longria I would be home every night
It makes me feel so sad for all these women. I'm SO happy in my marraige..
Sorta vent over.

Re: Why cant men keep it in their pants?
i'm not defending any of this behavior... but can it be that eva has a great package, but she can't deliver the goods?
again, not giving any excuse to a cheating partner. if you want to sleep with other people, don't get married.
but i just want to say that you shouldn't compare yourself to her pretty outsides. she might not be a nice person to be married to. she might be horrible in bed. she might be a nagging b!itch. we don't know what happens behind closed doors.

Re: Why cant men keep it in their pants?
When I think about being married to an athlete when you are a celeb...I wonder how well they really know one another. How much time did Eva and Tony REALLY have to get to know each other? They probably had such little time before the engagement...I mean solid, quality time, that maybe after three years of marriage they were finally getting to see who their partners were. No excuse for cheating either way...just something I've thought about.

it takes two to tango....
all of those men you mentioned are famous celebrities - those women that cheated with them knew they were married, and a lot of them were married themselves. why can't the women say no and keep their panties on?

ITA!! The rumor about Tony and his teammates wife has me What's HER excuse for that? Her hubby and Tony are on the same schedule. It's not like he has more time to dedicate to her. What could possibly be the reason for that affair? I just don't get it! The most sickening part is that they were all friends. They would go out and do "couple" things together!

Re: Why cant men keep it in their pants?
Honestly, I feel like more men in those types of situations cheat. I dont want to generalize, but I feel like basketball players, musicians, actors, people in power are more prone to cheat because girls are throwing themselves on them. Bball players are out of town a lot...they have groupies...etc.
I'm not saying ALL men with those jobs will cheat, but I feel like they definitely have it in their face more and might be more likely to slip up. Most regular/average guys don't have women throwing themselves on top of them.
A strong men, and a good man with values and morals might not slip up even under those circumstances, but I just think it comes with the territory.
I dont think I'd ever marry a bball star, actor, etc because of that.

Re: Why cant men keep it in their pants?
I think it's more of the lifestyle than the gender. More men cheat (or at least get caught), but women aren't immune to it, either.
LeeAnn Rimes: Rimes had been married for seven years when rumors surfaced that she was co-starring with Eddie Cibrian in the bedroom as well as in the Lifetime movie 'Northern Lights.' At first, Rimes denied the reports, but eventually she left husband Dean Sheremet for Cibrian, who subsequently left his wife of eight years. Rimes and Cibrian have been together for over a year now.
Jennifer Lopez: Remember when J.Lo did the no-no with Ben Affleck while married to Chris Judd? She left Judd for Affleck and the two became "Bennifer." They were inseparable. The couple got engaged, traded Bentleys and planned a wedding in Santa Barbara. Days short of saying "I do," Affleck reportedly made the decision to cancel the wedding and left Lopez a few weeks later. A distraught J.Lo soon rebounded with an old flame, Mark Anthony, who left his wife and married Lopez. The Latin lovers are still crooning about marriage and twin toddlers. Affleck ended up marrying Jennifer Garner.
Jennifer Garner: Garner had already been down the aisle with actor Scott Foley in 2000. She separated from him in March of '03 citing "irreconcilable differences." Those differences: Her relationship with Michael Vartan, which started on the set of their hit TV show, 'Alias.' Garner and Vartan went public within months, although her divorce from Foley was not finalized until a year later. That same summer, Vartan was out of the picture and Garner was with Affleck. There was certainly close proximity between these relationships, with Garner seeming to trade one for the other. Her alleged affairs all turned into open relationships, culminating in her marriage to Ben. It's now almost five years and two kids later.
Anne Heche: Heche received far more publicity for dating a woman than for cheating on one when she ditched gal-pal Ellen DeGeneres for cameraman-turned-husband Coley Laffoon. And hardly anyone raised an eyebrow when she left Laffoon in 2007 for her then 'Men In Trees' co-star James Tupper. Laffoon filed for divorce and called Heche "mentally unstable," but that didn't seem to bother Tupper. He and Heche recently had a baby together, and are keeping house ... three years and counting.

I agree I don't think cheating is a "male thing" or that men are crazed sexual beasts that cannot control sexual urges.
In my life I know not one single man who has cheated, I have no female friends who have been cheated on (to their knowledge). I do know two woman who have been the adulteress.
I think cheating is far less common in the lives of everyday people, celebrities have very difference lives and relationships, I don't think they are an accurate representation of the general public.

I watched that show Basketball wives (yes,I'll admit it ) and that was a HUGE issue that the wives dealt with. Some of these women would be at EVERY single game just to see a particular player. They would know their every move and follow them to parties, nightclubs..ect. I remember one instance where the wife confronted the groupie about "stalking" her husband and the groupie replied "he never mentioned he was married and just so you know, I'm not the only one he talks to after the games"
With women celebs...I don't really think it's the lifestyle. I think they just reach a point where they want to settle down and have something "normal" and just do it with the person who is there at the moment. Then they continue on that same path until something sticks. JLO is a PERFECT example of that! Her track record is ridiculous!

Cheating is cheating.
Plenty of women do it too -- it's just not as talked about.
So we are all about the "men are dogs" thing - but I think it's just as prevalent having women cheat as men.
It's about your personality and personal moral compass (or lack thereof), and don't think it has to do with your DNA.

I agree, cheating is cheating...and both sexes are equallty guilty.
That being said, I think professional athletes have more "opportunity" than your average guy.
My BFF is a HUGE Met fan..they go to spring training all season, travel to games, etc. Her and her DH have become friendly with some of the players...most of them have "friends" in the bigger cities, the married ones, the single ones, multiple girls and God knows what else.

Re: Why cant men keep it in their pants?
ones with power/fame/money are more likely to have more opportunities presented to them then your average "joe"
i think if your going to cheat your going to cheat regardless of sex/age/etc. I feel if your going to act on it (feelings/sex) then i think you should discuss this with your partner and either try to resolve issues or just divorce. NO one is amazing, everyone has a flaw and sometimes even if your HOT something else is lacking for that particular person who is the cheater or they are just horny and need accessibility at all times.

Yes! It's nuts! It's like a full time job for some of these women! I remember on MTV's True Life, there was an episode about this girl who was the self proclaimed "Giants Girl" She was trying to make a living out of being a groupie! She ended up being sued by the team for selling professional pics of herself decked out in official NFL giants gear.

Yeah..it's INSANE!! So I would never want to marry a professional atlhlete. I know they dont ALL cheat, but it's definitely a higher number than your average man. They are on the road all the time, and these women are everywhere. It's messed up and sooo wrong, but I just wouldn't want to be a part of that lifestyle. I remember watching The Game (loved that show about football players and their women (not reality show), and I told my hubby, I dont think I could handle if you were a pro football player. I'd be crazy paranoid and jealous!

I am not going to defend Eva's soon to be EX, but we don't know what goes behind closed door. She is pretty. That does not mean she is the nicest and neither for him.
They had a long distance relationship. It's really hard to maintain in the long run.
Yes, it is sad! Nobody wants to end up in a divorce but sometimes things happen. People grow apart. And while it is moraly wrong, temptations are everywhere. Especially when in the public eye and your spouse is not around much.

I feel like there is some trauma in the love lives of celebs every other day.
