why did my milk back up in to the pump tubing this morning?
10 months of exclusively pumping and this has never happened. All of a sudden the milk just rushed in to the tubes. I pulled the tubes out within 2 seconds so I don't think any milk got into the diaphragm. has this ever happened to anyone?

anyone? I really have no clue why this happened and I want to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

that has happened to me before....it happened when the milk was filling up in the base of the cone and i went to lean forward so that the milk would fall into the bottle and i guess the milk was rushing quickly into the bottle and some got into the tubing

Sometimes it happens when the membranes are correctly on too. It's happen to me a few times.

Re: why did my milk back up in to the pump tubing this morning?
It's happened to me before. Sometimes, the letdown was too strong and the milk overshot into the tubes. I always keep a back-up pair of tubing for this reason. It didn't happen frequently, but it did on a few occasions.
