I recall one year they were going to do a big LIF BBQ/Picnic. If I remember correctly it got cancelled because of some major drama on the boards.

Ahhhh yes -- the infamous picnic that got canceled with the start of a drama over a darn tattoo.
But that was a joint event -- maybe just an LIF one?

Thats all they do now is the parenting GTG, There is never just a gtg for just everyone to gtg and talk.

I would imagine there is no money to be made with a LIF GTG.
For TWOY, there are tons of bridal sponsors that basically pay for the event.

I can't believe a gtg was cancelled bc of drama over a tattoo thread.
a BBQ gtg sounds so nice too....
