Call your Realtor and instruct them to have it listed as "Under Contract" by the listing agent. That removes the property from public view. When a property is Under contract, the listing agent is supposed to do this right away. It is instantaneous on MLS and gets picked up by all the other websites within a day-2 at most.Chat Icon

Even if the house is under contract isn't the realtor able to still show the house? I think that is what is happening to my IL's. They are under contract but are still showing the house. It's in their contract that they are able to still take other offers. I guess as a seller I would prefer this since anything at any point could happen.
I'd just call your realtor and ask them when the protocal is and if they are suppose to take it down or put Under contract on they should of.

When you're under contract, you're under contract. The house could be shown to others, but the agency has to disclose that you're under contract, thus no one wants to waste time seeing it since almost all houses in contract, close.

I think your ILs might have an accepted offer which is more common to continue showing. Either that or they can continue to take "back up offers" (which are offers that can be negotiated if this contract falls through) while under contract

In any event, the Realtor must list the house as under contract.
