Why is this house so cheap?
Is this not a nice area in LYnbrook?I know you dont see what teh inside looks liek but still its soo cheap

i am also noticing these cheaper houses are located in sec: North
The one house is located on kensington road if that helps

one...it's the malverne SD, not Lynbrook. It's not as good. and second...there are no pictures of the inside. it can be horrible.

It is listed by an agency that I've never heard of in another town. I'd bet its bank owned or a short sale. That is the westwood setion and I'm not sure if that is malverne or lynbrook schools. My stepdaughter lives a few blocks away & she goes to Lynbrook.

I def think that is why it is soo cheap. Being in Malverne SD which I am would never affect a price of a house that much actually it rarely affects a price at all. And it is probably bank owned.

I looked it up on mynassauproperty and it has been sold five times since 1996, which is a weird sign. Something is off with the house, for sure.

Doesn't hurt to look at it. With that in mind there is no pictures of the inside! Could be a mess!
Also the real estate is listed as 66 Meridian rd. Levittown thats a house.

Exactly. If the realtor is only saying it's "good" then it's gotta be a dump inside. I've looked at other houses that realtors have listed as "excellent" condition, and they are a mess needing complete updating.
It also may have structural issues which are not stated.

that's a nice street but it is malverne school district not lynbrook.
it is probably a complete dump inside...but for that cheap it could be worth it to totally redo it. there has to be something really wrong with it for it to be under 300

There's no dishwasher, washer or dryer either. It's probably pretty empty inside.
I saw a wreck of a house with a real estate broker I had never heard of. Turns out, the broker owned the house and was using it as a rental property but now just wanted to be rid of it.
Also, built in 1926 - it's nearing the 100 year mark. I once saw a house on MLS with no year built - that's because it was built in 1898!! It had some unique problems due to it being 100+ years old. That can scare people off.
