Why the toothfairy's prices vary
Good thing I can think on my feet!
My friend's son came over today after losing his first tooth. He told me the T-fairy gave him $5. I said "that's great! $5 for the first tooth is really good."
Then he told me his friend at school got even more - $10
"Right, of course. He must drink a lot of milk."
"But I drink a lot of milk too."
"Well the tooth value is really based on the health of the teeth. Do you eat a lot of vegetables?"
"No. I don't like vegetables."
"Oh you have to start...Eat more broccoli.. I practically paid for my car with 5 of my teeth."
"Wow. I'm going to have to tell my mom that."
"Definitely. Broccoli is the way to go. You can eat spinach too."
Then he told his dad who laughed & said "the only green thing this kid will put in his mouth is gum."
"Better make some broccoli. He's got a car to pay for when he gets older."

yeah, my kid eats a ton of veggies, so that won't help.
I just told her that it was 20 bucks the first tooth (so she could get a toy) and then 1 dollar each additional tooth. I told her I emailed with the tooth fairy and that's what we negotiated so you don't get spoiled...
She bought it...

Awesome!!!!
My friends DD was losing her teeth the same time DS was getting his.
I told her that she had to take care of them b/c the tooth fairy recycles the teeth - see, you lost one and DS got one... I had her thinking about it for a while!!!
