I knew they would.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone on here shared it with the media!

Definitely! I knew the minute the connection was made it would get out there.

I remember her now from 09 I knew some people said they did, but now that I saw her screen name and avatar photo I remember her!

It was only a matter of time before that stuff surfaced.

Re: Wife of Suspected Pharmacy Killer Details Health Problems, Pain Pill Use on Website

Whats sad to me is maybe just maybe when she was posting for her wedding she was having real dental issues..Maybe this was all before any addiction takes place. I dont know I feel like going back that far with somethings is irrelavent.

Trust me I am not defending these people what they did was sick but talking about how she could screem at her DH mentioned from her 2008/9 post has nothing to do with what is going on. I could screem at my DH on a daily basis. I think that if was something to do with mentioning addiction or something else not being made about a wedding.

Again I just feel like this is just pulling straws to make an article instead of looking at more current things that would set them off.

Here is a new article:

Suspect's wife: 'I'm sorry he did all this'

"I'm sorry that he did all this," a disheveled Melinda Brady, the wife of accused Medford pharmacy killer David Laffer, told reporters early Thursday as she was escorted into a police car outside Suffolk police headquarters in Yaphank.

Brady and Laffer, an unemployed Army veteran, were described as drug abusers by law enforcement sources. They were charged Wednesday night in the Father's Day robbery that left four people shot dead at a Medford pharmacy.

Mumbling outside police headquarters, she said, "He was doing it because ... he lost his job" and she then mentioned "my health."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"He did it," Brady told reporters in a tremulous voice, squinting as she sat in the backseat of a police car. "... He did all of this."

Brady, who is facing a third-degree robbery charge for her role in the Father's Day killings, wore hand restraints behind her back and was escorted by about a half-dozen detectives and uniformed policewomen as she made her way from the headquarters to the waiting patrol car.

Laffer, 33, was charged with first-degree murder in Long Island's deadliest mass shooting in 18 years. Brady, 29, was charged with third-degree robbery. A law enforcement source said she drove her husband to and from the drugstore where a pharmacist, a clerk and two customers were methodically shot down.

An hour earlier, Laffer was taken from the same facility to the Fifth Precinct in Patchogue, where he was to be held overnight. Before entering the building, Laffer was asked by reporters if he was a drug user.

"No," he replied under his breath.

Brady was scheduled to be driven from police headquarters to the Fourth precinct in Hauppauge Thursday.

The couple stole more than 10,000 pills of hydrocodone, a synthetic opiate used in Vicodin, and then resumed their suburban routine at their home 2 miles away, the source said -- waving at neighbors and working around the yard in the days until police broke down their door.

A three-day investigation fueled, the source said, by phoned-in tips and a fingerprint found at the pharmacy, Haven Drugs, culminated Wednesday in a carefully orchestrated police raid on the Laffers' Medford home.

With helicopters hovering overhead, dozens of officers stormed the house and emerged quickly with Laffer, handcuffed, disheveled and bloody. Brady was also led away in handcuffs.

Police said he fought back and was charged with resisting arrest. In the evening, he was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, including black eyes visible in photographs.

Asked about the bruising on the suspect's face in an interview with "Good Day New York," Suffolk Police Commissioner Richard Dormer defended the arresting officers actions.

"They had to take this extremely dangerous suspect into custody immediately," Dormer said. "He violently resisted. They had to use force to subdue him."

Brady was also charged with obstruction of government administration for hindering police during the raid. A law enforcement source said Brady had given detectives valuable information about Sunday's crime.

The couple will be arraigned Thursday in District Court in Central Islip. At about 12:30 this morning, Brady was driven from Suffolk Police Headquarters in Yaphank to the department's Fourth Precinct in Hauppauge. Before she got into a police car, she told reporters, "I'm sorry that he did all this" when asked what she would say to the victims' families.

Law enforcement sources said Wednesday Laffer wore a fake beard, a hat and sunglasses to conceal his identity. Detectives believe Laffer used his own legally registered .45 caliber handgun in the pharmacy shootings, a law enforcement source said.

Police would not say Wednesday whether they had recovered the gun and the drugs.

Not long after the shootings, Laffer returned to the ranch-style house on Pitchpine Place that he shares with his wife and mother Pam, said a source familiar with the investigation.

On Tuesday night, next-door neighbor Zaida Ayala said she saw Laffer, clad in swim trunks, cleaning his backyard, picking up fallen tree branches and "trimming things." Ayala said she talked about the shootings with Laffer's mother, who said she was shocked the shootings took place in Medford.

"I said, 'It's time for me to move,' " Ayala said. "And she says, 'Yeah.' We were laughing. And she says, 'Now we can't even go walking around at night.' "

The arrests came in a case Dormer called "cold-blooded" and one of the most "vicious" he'd ever seen.

The gunman walked into Haven Drugs just after it opened Sunday and without provocation killed two employees: pharmacist Raymond Ferguson, 45, of Centereach, and his clerk, Jennifer Mejia, 17, a high school senior from Medford. He turned the gun on two customers -- Bryon Sheffield, 71, of Medford, and Jaime Taccetta, 33, of Farmingville -- before making off with a backpack full of prescription drugs. He took no cash.

The ruthless shootings, captured on video surveillance, set off an intense search.

Laffer's arrest bewildered many of his friends and neighbors. The 1995 Patchogue-Medford High School graduate joined the Army before his 18th birthday and served for eight years, attaining the rank of private first class.

Until two weeks ago, he had a job at a commercial-grade measuring instrument distributor in Yaphank, COSA Xentaur Instrument Corp. A law enforcement source said he was fired after being accused of trying to steal another employee's property.

Without the job, Laffer sought government assistance for the first time, applying online for food stamps Friday night, said a source with knowledge of his case file. Neighbor Mike Pagliuca said Laffer's only apparent vice was cigarette smoking. "They were not shady people at all," Pagliuca said. "David was fine. I don't [know] what drove him to this. I hope it's not him."

Other neighbors, said police sources, had suspected Laffer.

Information pointing to Laffer began with tips to the Suffolk police Crime Stoppers hotline and leads by the Suffolk district attorney's office, a source said. The Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor in New York City also learned of Laffer's name as part of an ongoing investigation into prescription drug abuse, a source said, and passed the name to the federal Drug Enforcement Administration office in Suffolk.

In the last week, Melinda Brady, who two years ago had complained on a website about severe dental pain, "was trying to find out if anyone knew what hospital she can go to to get a script for pain pills," said a childhood friend who spoke on condition of anonymity. Because of Laffer's firing, the couple had lost their health insurance, the friend said.

By Tuesday, police had the Laffer house under surveillance.

Viedya Sabrina Quail-Ferguson, Ferguson's wife, got the news of the arrest before her husband's wake in Farmingdale.

"I feel like I can come here stronger, not with this cloud over my head," she said.

Taccetta's brother, Daniel, showed up at police headquarters in Yaphank to see Laffer. "I just hope it's him," Taccetta said, adding that he will follow the case "every step of the way."

This what she wrote on LIW about how she met her husband:

"My FH and I met threw a friend. I was trying to set them back up because they dated threw high school and she still had a ton of feelings for him but we fell for each other instead. It worked out for the best. I am so glad it worked out the way it did. I couldn't be happier. I love him dearly and I can't see myself with anyone else but him."

Whoever that friend was must be thanking her lucky stars that she didn't end up with him.

I doubt it. I'm no expert on drugs or drug addicts but someone who was posting about the SAME thing for almost three years...is def. an addict who was putting that info out there in hopes that someone would come out and "help" her get her fix.
It's all about manipulation.

And well, this sort of makes me reconsider EVERYTHING i've ever posted on LIW.... not that I'm going to be arrested for some heinous crime, but as much as we all know it could technically happen it's just shocking to see posts quoted in a news article!

exactly & that's why I have & will never post my real name on here, my DS, DH or any of our pictures. It's unreal.
