This is why I watch what I write. I love LIF but it's a public website. I don't fool myself. God forbid you end up on the news for whatever reason I don't want my posts to come haunting me and people on here have picture perfect memories.

Whoever that friend was must be thanking her lucky stars that she didn't end up with him.

Watching that video, I think of the pictures she posted of her smiling parents and her grandma on her wedding day and wedding shower, etc.... I can't imagine what they must be going through.
I don't know how a parent can ever deal with life when they see this is what happened to their baby.  A druggie and a murderer are never anything parents fathom as a possibility for their children....

I am in NO WAY defending this woman, but I truly see nothing wrong with her posts, besides maybe her writing style being a little annoying.
I have major tooth trouble so I know how that feels. I also see people write a lot WORSE about their husbands on here.
I would never think she had issues just reading her posts.

Why does everyone think that an active member tipped off the media. Journalists can find things. They can have accounts here and I think there are some among us. Does anyone realize how many members and how many hits a day these sites get? The truth is, these sites are part of the media.
My friend writes a blog that is one of the first place that news reporters go when they want quotes about bankruptcy law. They have his site bookmarked and when a new legal issue comes up or they want a story, they go there. Likewise, people are checking LIF and LIW when there are news stories on Long Island. There are also a few other local sites that get this sort of attention. Also, if someone who is active here tipped off the media, is that person really some sort of rat? I do not think so!
We need to step back for a minute to remember that some families are suffering and that maybe we can all even do something positive for them. Let's put our heads together for that instead of to argue.
