will IUI work if ?
the male has low motility and some of his sperm is defective?
or is IVF the best option

Honestly, I'd go right to IVF with ICSI, but I did get pg twice (one DS, one chemical) with IUI's, and we have MF issues.

We also have MF issues (low count). I think your best bet is IVF with ICSI. We did several IUI's with most being BFN's. We did get pregnant once, but it was an ectopic pregnancy.
We conceived our DD on our first IVF.

I have my first appt with the specialist on the 6th of July, i was just trying to figure out Time Frame for all of the proceducres to actually start

I got pregnant many times with IUI and DH has a morphology problem. But everyone is different...
