Will the ped office call if they run out of the flu shot?

I'm hearing all over the place about drs office running out of flu shots. Both my babies have an appointment on Monday for the second shot. Should I call first to make sure they have it? Or should I figure since its for the booster, they have it set aside?

you should call. my place ran out and didn't call. i ended up getting her one that wasnt preservative free, and they still said call the day before you come before the booster to make sure we have it.

i was told to call just incase... i may just ask them when they call to confirm the appointment if they have it in stoclk

I would call and don't count on them calling you.

Doctors are running out--our pediatrician still has them, but my general doctor and DHs are both out.

our office told us to call the am of the appt.

My ped called and cancelled twice. DD had an appointment 2 weeks ago. They aren't making anymore appointments because they don't know when they will be getting them. I've been calling everyday since then. I hope they get them soon.
