Did you buy it yourself? If you have the rewards card it was purchased with yes or the credit card.
I'm not sure if you received as a gift without a receipt though.

No it was a gift. I know they gave me trouble when I tried to return stuff from my shower to BRU - I guess they will be the same way

I returned something there yesterday without a receipt and was able to get store credit for the lowest selling price.

Yes they will do this and keep record of your returns using your drivers license.
